This was a great location for our small family getaway. The view was great and the hospitality of the owner was awesome. It is at the far end of the boardwalk, so it is quiet. There was an issue with the toilet, but it was taken care of promptly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. You could definitely sleep more than 6 in this condo...it had a lot of sleeping options. The condos are very secure - key cards are needed to get into the area. The pool was small and closed at 6:00. It would have been better if it would've been open later even if you "swam at your own risk." They do have a lifeguard on duty during pool hours. Great boardwalk and beach too - we had a great time in Rehoboth Beach.
The only con was on checking in. I would have liked to have had better directions on where to check in. It was really confusing for a first time visit. We had no idea if we were to check in at Long & Foster's or the Condos. An e-mail with detailed instructions on checking in a week or so before check-in would have been great.
We enjoyed our vacation here very much. The room was well supplied with little things we needed. Notes for renters explaining where things were or how to operate things were appreciated. The daybed in the livingroom was awesome!
I would recommend fixing the metal piece that holds the carpet down as you enter the kitchen. It was sharp (i moved the hall carpet to cover it and all was fine).
The one and only problem I had (and this is why I may not rent this unit again) is that whenever we went onto the balcony to relax with the lovely ocean view the person occupying unit 603 would come out and smoke. IT WAS TERRIBLE and vented onto the balcony. I complained to Front Desk and they told me to go inside when that happened. Apparently smokers can smoke 24/7 on balconies without problem. What was the use of paying for a balcony to see the ocean when I literally could not use it. IF i knew the people who rented 603 were not going to be there again next year i would rent 803, without that proof I will try another room or another building.
