Ocean City Boardwalk
Ocean City’s world famous boardwalk is on the beach at the southernmost tip of Ocean City, from the inlet to 28th Street. Park your car at one of the many public parking lots and stroll, bike ride, or ride the boardwalk train the length of the boardwalk. Here you’ll find amusement parks, rides for young and old alike, shopping, and fast food and restaurants. Lining the boardwalk are benches to stop a bit and ‘people watch’. On the boardwalk is the Ocean City Life Saving Museum, a must-see attraction to learn the history of Ocean City, how the inlet was cut during a massive storm before hurricanes were named, examples of surf lifesaving equipment, and amazing stories of shipwrecks at our shores through the centuries.
